An avid collector of cacti and succulents from his early teenage
years, Lyle Filippe long dreamed of someday owning his own nursery and
creating gardens in which his favourite plants could grow to their
full potential.
The purchase of Lara Plant Farm in 2001 has
realized that dream. In a very short time Lyle has transformed the
Nursery into a showcase of unique plants and beautiful garden
settings, with a huge selection of plants both unusual and
familiar. |
Lyle is supported by
his wife Cheryl, who manages the bookkeeping and administration of the
Nursery, and a dedicated staff of six - Ashleigh, Ben, Debbie, Glenn,
Kelly, and Oliver bring a great deal of skill and enthusiasm to the
Nursery.
