Matucana are a group of about 20 species of cacti native to Peru. They are small, mostly spherical plants, with attractive red, yellow, or pink flowers in Spring or Summer. They like a position in the morning sun, or bright shade in a hot climate, and should be kept warm and dry in Winter.
